Drake's uncharted mission - help

WTF do I need to do to get past the bit where the statues of matthew mark luke and john are and the compass on the ground... I'm a chick so give me a break and tell me your tips:D:confused:

From gamefaqs;

Based by the compass on the floor, rotate the bird east, the gryphon west, the angel north, and the unicorn south.

i thought it was pretty straightforward

you put them facing the direction theyre facing in drakes notebook

HAha i got stuck too!!:o I thought that the obvious answer was too easy so i tried the most random **** i could think of. When i figured it out I almost crushed the flimsy controller!! Glad to hear theres soemone else as slow as me lol
