It would have been a waste of money and those that benefit the most are usually the better off that can afford HSDPA or Digiweb Mobile.

It would also have been unfair competition. WiFi in Libraries and other suitable buildings gives 10x performance and is more useful.

In general we need better wifi coverage throughout the city. It's not great at all. I've a BT OpenZone account and need to find these hotspots. At least if I'm in the UK, I've the cloud in London, which supports multiple providers, or t-mobile at every starbucks, which allows me to roam.

I have been thinking of providing free hotspots in Dublin for a while.
My products have a huge range, even through walls.
    Still work in progress...

Guys do you know if we can hang WIFI antennas over building, like balcony etc...or does it have to be on the roof?

    Hum 27 million lol
Anyone know if the plan/proposals are available somewhere?
I would be curious to see what kind of infrastructure they proposed for 27 million.
