Hi guys, im looking at getting an amp for around 250 - 300 euro. If you have any recommendations that would be great. If there are some good ones cheaper than 250 could you post them please.

One other thing I have had this for a few years now.http://www99.shopping.com/xPF-Philips-LX3700D
Do you know if I can just use these speakers with the Amp until I can afford new ones.
    Thank you

You won't get a new amp much better than your own for €200-300, for that price you'll have the same audio decoding (if you're lucky you may get DTS EX and DD 6.1).

If you browse ebay, avforums and a few second hand markets you will be able to stretch you cash a lot further, you've gotta love technology depreciation. (I got a lovely Sony two year old amp with 7.1 for €180+post during the week on ebay)

You could go for one of the new Sony all in ones, the HT DDW890 is a 6.1 decoder and includes all the speakers. I can't vouch for the quality of that system but from what I hear it does a good enough job. It goes for somewhere in the region of €300 on pixmania.

I think the speakers you have should work with any system you get but you'll have to set the impedance at 4.
