pod x3 amp damage?

I've a pod x3 live and I want to plug my bass into it and then into an ashdown amp, the 300watt one.. think it's called mc300 or something.

Question is: Is the pod capable of generating frequencies that'll seriously **** up my amp?

And if the bass amp is able to handle it, what about using it for guitar on a guitar amp?

There are a few octave and synth effects on it that I'm a bit fearful to use.

the pods just a digital modeler, no problems pluggin a bass into a pod at all then into the amp

sure u can even get the bass packs for the pod anyways, its aok

its just bass stuff into a guitar amp is always dodgy it shud be aok what u wana do

Ah yeah, the podx3 has the bass mods built in etc, but I'm just worried about the frequencies really.

For instance on the guitar it can do an effect like an octave pedal where it pumps out an octave lower and then an octave lower again... if a bass would **** up my guitar amp I'm just worried that all the octave lower shenanigans might do the same, or am I missing something?

well im pretty sure its stil gona be fine but if its jsut the frequencies you're worried about just remember how they work

octaves are just the frequency of the the note played doubled

so on a guitar the 5 string is the A string which is at 440Hz so an octave below is 220Hz ..octave below is 110Hz etc...

same applies for any note u want the octave of, so if ur worried about what frequencies ur making theres an easy way to find out if ur gona be ****ing anything up

http://www.phy.mtu.edu/~suits/notefreqs.html all the ntoes are there if u wana be exact and find out the exact frequencies the bass will be at

Ah I see, so once I figure out the frequency range the pods gonna be kickin' out and the frequencies the amp can handle, all should be well.
