Anyone catch this over the last couple of nights?

It's made by Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall of River Cottage fame.

    From his website:

"In the new, hard-hitting series Hugh's Chicken Run, Hugh learns about the reality of modern poultry production and sets up his own intensive farm – revealing what it takes to enable chickens to be sold cheaper than a pint of beer. Hugh's Chicken Run will air on consecutive nights: the 7th, 8th and 9th January 2008, 9pm on Channel 4"

Brilliant but horrific TV. Really changed my mind about how I buy my meat. Last episode is on tonight at 9pm!

Yep been watching this, appparently the denizens of Axminster are miffed they got singled out! The difference in conditons between the "standard chicken" and the free-rangers was notable by the end of the last nights programme. Tonight there won't be a square cm to spare I'd say.

    Mike.

Great show very disturbing. Jamie Olivers program on Friday looks set to turn the gross out factor up to 11

Yeah, you could really see it when Oliver arrived....wasn't any space to move in the shed!

Olivers show on Friday should be a good follow on alright!
