Got tickets for weekend in Edinborough. What's worth visiting there?

    Departing this Saturday morning.

    Thanks for recommendations

a pub called the jeckell and hyde. is it still there? a creepy looking theme pub where the toilets are through a secret door behind a bookcase and they have torture noises coming from them. yes i love a bit of culture.

    - Definitely visit the castle, they do a guided walking tour. Prob about £10 per person but well worth it.

    - Also, Mary Kings Close (the old town underground which they have excavated - its quite stuffy tho - i nearly fainted, but well well worth it!) Its just off the royal mile.

    - Defo take a few hours to stroll up/down the royal mile for some good shopping and just soaking up the atmosphere.

    - Edinburgh dungeons - havent done it but defo will next time.

    - Ghost pub crawl (google it for more info)

    - There's a big yacht down by leith - its really good and has a decent shopping centre there too. (again, might need to google for more info)

Thats just a few off the top of my head. have fun, its one of the best cities to visit for a few days.

    The castle is great

A stroll up and down the Royal Mile is just so cool

We visited the Scottish Parliamnet which was well worth it if you have an interest in that sort of thing

There is also a very reasonable seafood rest in the Grassmarket area - name escapes me but mussels were great !!!
