My 4 gig Zen micro is getting on a bit now, and I was thinking of upgrading to a newer player. The trend seems to be towards flash based devices, but I would rather something larger and HDD based. I would rather use the train wreck that is windows media player than the train wreck that is itunes though, which leaves me with a bit of a problem.

Anybody come across anything nice in irish stores around 30 gigs and up ?

i was in the same boat as you and ended up biting the bullet and getting myself a new ipod. haven't looked back since though
