March/April/May would be considered the 'Hot Season' in Thailand. Many find it a little too warm at this time of year.

It's the dry season at the moment, when most people visit the country.

This weather map is worth a look at.

if you go during that period make sure you're there between the 13th and 15th april. It's Songkran, thai new year, and if you're a kid at heart, you'll have the best time ever!!!!! it's basically a three day waterfight. buy yourself a big supersoaker and roam the streets of thailand soaking anyone and everyone, and fill up wherever you can. i can't recommend it highly enough, it's just crazy. everyone is involved, from the smallest kids to the old grandparents. and don't be alarmed if people come up to you and cover you with a talcum powder like substance, it's to bring good luck.
