    Hi everyone,
im from dublin and im trying to book a trip to las vegas for my self and my girlfriend for her birthday in april. i looked on the net for cheap flights and accommodation and got mostly results of around £995euro per person.
although i would pay this i'm sure there are flights and accommodation. if anyone knows any airlines and good hotels/acccommodation to book with please could you enlighten me. Cheers:(:(

Aer lingus flies to LA, from there you can get a connecting flight to Vegas, there will be plenty of flights a day so choice shouldn't be an option. I booked my La-Vegas flights bundled with the Hotel on Travelocity and basically got the flights for free with the saving. the Aerlingus flights were about 500 pp. The la-vegas flights should only cost about $100 -150 pp return. with Hotels it really depends on what you want to get and where you want to stay. circus circus is one of the cheapest but it's a good bit away from the main strip even though it is on the strip.

your best option is to fly Dublin to los angeles and then onto las vegas (its a 45 minute flight from LA to vegas)

you could also fly Dublin to san francisco and then onto las vegas (its a 1 hour 10 minute from SF to vegas)

aer lingus fly direct from Dublin to both SF and LA and are usually the cheapest option (at least were before the stupid fuel surcharge ) http://www.aerlingus.com

from la and sf the cheapest airline are united http://www.united.com and southwest http://www.southwest.com

as for accommodation in las vegas try here http://www.travelaxe.com

if you have any questions regarding las vegas hotels (e.g. quality, location etc you can PM me)

Another flight option now that Aer Lingus fly to Gatwick is with Virgin Atlantic direct from Gatwick to Vegas.

Virgin have quite a few sales so check out their website (and they are the best Trans-Atlantic operator IMO)

Me and my mate are going to San Fran and Vegas at the end of Feb. Flights were €500 all in each return Dublin to San Fran ( I believe its slightly cheaper at the moment). Flights with Virgin America are then around €100 to €130 return on top of that.

Accomodation is approx €70 per night apart from Friday/ Saturday which at least double in price.

Im afraid it will prob work out around €1k each for a decent trip- get a loan or something its not something I think you should try to do on the cheap. Do it once but do it right:)
