hi can anyone help me in pro evo 08. i play regulary with my brother and were fairly good we know most of the standard moves and stuff but he seems to be getting the edge on me lately. like is there a better way to tackle and score mabye a better way of passing. i just use the standars x button to tackle mabye a slide…

Use the R2 button when shooting, player side foots the ball into the net (hopefully;)), practice it in training it will definitely up your scoring tally, with regards to tackling try not to dive in!

The set pieces in 08 are very easy to score from - practice your corners and free kicks from just outside the box in the training modes.....with a little bit of practice you can expect to score off half of them in any game...

Also, 08 is quite buggy about tackles - do plenty of sliding tackles around the side lines (without hitting the player).....a lot of the time if you slide in and kick the ball out it will actually give the throw in to you.

How do you know he won't read this thread?

Practice the art of thru ball, is the best bet, pick one team and getused to the players, i remember in Pes5 with Henry and Arsenal i new his runs like the back of my hand and was hitting thru balls before he appeared on the screen. Freekicks are alot easier to core in this one, practice them in training. find a taker you'll like. RVP and Pirlo are the dogs testicles for me.

Hold down square and your other players will tackle him too.
