    both 12 year olds back on the road towards aintree.

    Just reading that these will be having a run or two in the next few weeks. If the weights are right could they have a chance again.? They always seem to get around the track in liverpool anyhow? and have provided me a few pounds over the years.

    Personally if Hedgehunter was going to win again it would have been last year.... The weight and age caught him out then and you can expect as much weight on his back this year as a past winner...

    I think the days of horses retaining/regaining their crown are long gone. If they're deemed good enough to win two Nationals they'd be running in the Gold Cup instead!
