Hey Im booking a long distance flight from Ireland to Joberg!
Just wondering where is the best place to get a good price for the flight and also which Airline is the best of all these

    Etihad Airline,
    Swiss International Airline,
    BMI,
    British Airways,
Eimirates--I love emirates but this means having to travel to london first which would be annoying.

    Cheers Guys

Note you are going to have to travel to London or another hub first anway

Etihad are nearly the best there I would say, but would mean travelling to Abu Dhabi first...? Hence, two long flights

Out of those choices I would go with BA. More for the fact that you'll only be going to London to get to your south africa flight.

The others sound like a pain to get to really. As neon said, you'll have 2 long flights with ethiad etc.

Look into air france / klm to south africa. They are supposed to be very good on south african flights..

Lufthansa are generally top notch! you will probably have to fly through Frankfurt which isin't too bad, even better if there is something through Munich

check out air france as well. Although not the friendliest of airlines, it's perfectly fine, and the prices are usually some of the best. check out www.opodo.co.uk for a good comparator
