    Hi,

I recently purchased a new laptop from Dell and opted out of buying Anti virus software and a laptop bag.
I was trying to keep the total cost down at the time.

Does anyone know or recommend websites for purchasing cheap (good quality) - laptop bags and anti virus software. i.e "Norton all in one".

    Thanks in advance....

AVG have free editions of their virus scanner and spyware scanner.
I've been using them for years

I've been using AVG and had no problems. My last tutor in Fas (computer repair and maintanence course) has been using AVG for years and recomends it. Tkmaxx in Dublin sometimes, shops that sell samsomite bags have a good quality one that my brother bought, sercure, good padding I think it was 45euro, I bought a targus (17") in Argos it only ok, padding isn't great

AVG isnt that good. Everyone has there own opinions, but I wouldnt recommend it myself. Id suggest looking at either Eset NOD32 (student discount available) or Kaspersky AV (who often do good bargains).

Tesco are selling niec laptop bags that do the job. Cheap to.

Btw: Stay away from Norton or McAffee. To heavy on a machine, best performance is not having them.
