Time to embarress yourself now. What posters did you plaster to your room thinking you were the height of cool, but now make you squirm?

I think my own memories are fairly cringeworthy in their own right. And I specify that these are from different ages too, they weren't all up together.

Huge big 4 foot x 4 foot poster of ALF, (the fuzzy alien thing) which I thought was really cool.
Madonna in her "I'm a complete 80's slut" pose. Hey, I thought she was sexy.
Sabrina, she of the boob popping out episode. I thought she was sexy too.
Cindy Crawford in that "coming out of the sea all wet" pose. I still think she's sexy. (and its no longer a poster, as I framed it and now have it hanging in the garage, so its now an artistic picture. Classy! :D)
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, coz they WERE cool and there's no arguing that.
    Thundercats. Ahem.
I also had a really big Worzel Gummage one which was actually quite creepy because it was Worzel, Aunt sally just behind him, and just behind her, you could see Worzels spare heads on a shelf.
There was also a really camp Adam Ant in full makeup poster at one stage too, as someone managed to convince me that he was cool. Whoops.

And now at the tender young age of 31, I still act like a kid with a huge big poster of Bender from Futurama adorning my living room door, and 4 different Homer Simpson ones in the garage, all around Cindy in her framed beauty.

Any cringies you yourself are proud of?

Large poster of a non-pneumatic Jordan (then Katie Price) in an overly tight Brighton shirt and another without an overly tight Brighton shirt...

Now, looking back on it, I don't know why - I'm "not interested" in women so to speak :p

Also the generic football fixtures listings that came with the tabloids, a massive Simpsons Springfield montage that came in their comics and probably some others I can't remember.

All got replaced by a montage of gig/football tickets in my teenage years, thats still being built on to!

Ye were allowed have posters of wimmens?

I had a Mr.Perfect and Bret Hart (2x3) one on wall and Snoopy on the other. Today I have a few Back to the Future ones, the Breakfast Club (one of my fav films) and Cowboy Bebop.

My first poster I think was a picture of a red Ferrari F40. Can't actually remember the rest of them!

I had a large Kurt Cobain one, just him playing guitar.

I had another large Snoop Dogg one.

Small magazine page ones of Cypress Hill and Snoop.

    Various footballers too.

I used to get a lot of posters from Smash Hits (RIP) so there was a fair bit of chopping and changing on my walls. I did buy a big poster of A-Ha though and that lasted a fair while because I'd paid a fiver for it back in cheap times. I think I also had Curiosity Killed the Cat, Madonna and Brother Beyond. Also I had a Star Wars film poster which is about the only one I don't feel like cringing about.

I had one of those posters you used to see in Abrakebra or similar fast food places. A long poster with pencil drawings of Marilyn Monroe, Elvis, James Dean.... Ugh :o

    I'm still a poser though, I can't help it:cool:

My little sister had a picture of Dieter Brummer on her wall that I defaced by changing the name to Diet Bumboy.

    Not very nice, I admit.

That tv show was just not well. I used to have lots of 2000 ad pics - nemesis and torquemada, strontium dog (ver jonny) and rogue trooper. The big cover-a-wall ones were killing zoe and pulp fiction. I honestly never had an alf one though I did watch it.
