    Hi All,

My TDM 850 was stolen from outside my house at the weekend. Fortunatley i found it a few streets away but they made a right mess of the wiring. Im assuming the tried to Hotwire it without any luck.

Is this a big job to get my ignition back working again? They cut the wire entering the igntition and wrapped it around itself. Can I just tape these wires back together?

PS. They got my helmet and Jacket also. Will post a pic of the jacket tommorow

    Thanks

    Fint

Needless to say, you were lucky that the keys werent in it, other wise the old insurance company would be having a right laff at you. as for the ignition you could tape them back together for the mo, however i'd take her in to a garage to have it re wired and covered again

Ya I take all my keys up stairs, otherwise my car was gone too...

P*ssd about my jacket though, cost me 400euro, I needed a new helmet anyway.

Ill try taping the wires up 2nite, they made a right mess of it so it might have to go back for a rewire. Would this be pricey?

Guys! Tried to patch up the wires but they made an awful job of the hotwiring attemp.

Looks like the pulled out the wires from the ignition coil which leaves me no room to patch the wires together? Is it a new ignition coil???

    Cheers
