    I was wondering if anybody knows why the number of carriages on the 7.02am train from Donabate has been reduced .Its getting very difficult to get on the thing, this morning was like a sardine can again. The service was fine until a couple of weeks before Christmas. I got no joy from Irish rail when I asked about safety and over crowding before. How can the access over crowding when they have no way of knowing how many people are on a train buses have a capacity which can not be exceed why so why trains?

    :confused::confused::confused::confused::mad:

    There are too few carraiges. When older ones fail, there are no spares. Newer ones aren't all in service yet. The older DARTs are away being refurbished. There has been a series of failures with the Enterprise.

    Tell this to your TD. Demand better service. Demand meaning explanations. Don't moan, do something.

    Same on all morning and evening services on the Northern suburban line.
    Price increases, increased loadings due to house completions along the route combined with less capacity. Great stuff! I see Trevor is very queit these days since the Green's got into power......:mad:

    Over the Christmas holidays I was getting that train and it was a full length train and then from Monday this week its a bloody shorter train. what gives? You have just reminded me that I am going to complain to irish rail now. Dont get me started on the heat on the train this morning. I was too far away to ask someone to open a window. Awful :( It puts me in such bad form in the morning. I dont mind standing but the overcrowding freaks me out.
