Pretty basic and obvious stuff, I went on a good site last year, but can't remember it.

LOL, bitta Google. Would it not have made more sense to type Interrail into google before using boards?;) Perhaps a huge smile would have been better suited?

Where you planning on going, or will it just be a wherever the wind takes 'yus' sort of trip?

Depending on where you are planning on going and how much travelling you will do it can be cheaper to just buy individual tickets particularly if you are planning to set an itinerary in advance.

I was told this, but I'll be going for a month and I wanna see as much of Europe as I can in that month. I'm thinking 10 destinations in the 30 or so days, so it looks like the ticket would cost €400 which sounds reasonable enough, I wanna try a mix of hostels and couchsurfing for both the excitment and financial reasons. I dunno how much it would cost to go between countries for a single ticket (would be greatfull if someone could give me a blueprint)

I really wanna go to Czech Republic (been there before and loved it), Slovakia, France, Germany, Italy, Poland, Netherlands and Belgum. I would also like to see the three main scandanavian countries (dunno if that's possible)

and I want to have a vague blueprint for the trip, but nothing set in stone as it won't work out anyway

Seriously, if you attempt 10 places in 30 days, you'll spend about half that time on trains and looking for hostels etc.

well the plan is to see 10 places, but plans like these rarely work out

10 is alright but i found that i only planed the first day and first nights accomodation, from there we just went on to the next place, only problem with that though is you start to disagree! Hostel accomodation is usually pretty handy to get as long as you book it a couple of nights in advance

with the people you go with you mean? we'll probably part ways after the first week and meet up again a few days before heading home. this way we'll both get to see what we came to see and it should eliminate all that confrontation stuff you get from being around someone too long
