I've heard a lot about this date recently and about how it was traditional that the wimmins went out and celebrated while the men stayed in and did the housework.

I laughed so hard I hurt my ribs. :D

I'm glad that's one quaint old tradition that has fallen to the wayside with some sommon sensical input.

Never heard that one before. Wimmins out on their own celebrating. Yeah, right.

Now seeing as it's Christmas again where's my present?

My mother went out with friends and neighbours for "Little Christmas" last year.

    Irish mammies all the same.

You see, they like looking after their sons, and their sons like being looked after.

Irish wimmins are genetically predisposed to bearing children. It's what fulfills them.
