I tried setting my wifi up in college today to no avail...i turned on the browser and followed the onscreen instructions and all that. But I met a stumbling block when I had to download something from McAfee.

The first McAfee thing worked fine,it was downloaded directly from the IS services page, but the second McAfee thing (Virex definitions update or something) had a link to McAfee's website, and because I wasn't connected to the internet,I couldn't dl it.

Have I done something completely wrong? What must I do???

I always have that problem with the Virex nonsense. Do the whole thing, including the download, in Firefox rather than Safari. The Virex update is located off-site and only Firefox can have the correct settings that allow for it to come through. PM me if you run into further trouble.
