We love Anime and Manga.... who doesn't....

But have you ever had the wish to be as talented to draw any of your favorite chars/icons/screen shot clips?

    Have you?

So how do you do it…?

    Post links and help topics…

And anywhere that has lesions. Would be cool too….even better in fact.

I dislike any of those "how to draw manga" books/guides as all they have is forumulas for different features [eyes draw a triangle and round of one end etc etc] It doesn't lend itself to good drawing. I can't stress drawing from life enough if people are out to improve drawing skills.

When inking use good nibs [deleter nibs are best], sable brushes and a good ink. Some type of Bristol is best for inking on. You can find some deleter nibs in Dublin [FB has a small selection or the art store beside NCAD has some] or order from AKADOT.

There are some great online tutorials for digital inking and colouring to be found and alot of artists post "this is how I did this" posts on their blogs/sites Heres a great video for digital inking/colouring from the artist of Khaos Comic. Digital inking is alot easier if you've got a tablet but its not the end of the world if you don't.

DA is great, thou you do sometimes have to wade through some amount of crap to find the amazing stuff.
