Boards Team Idea

Just an idea, but thought i'd see what everyone thought...

The idea of a boards outing has been mentioned a few times, but would many people be up for entering into some of the open fourball or team competitions in the coming year?

Most clubs have them at some point, so maybe if people who are available to play on the same days could join together and enter into the team comps as a team.

I much prefer playing competitive golf, as opposed to practicing. Some weekends (particularly at this time of year) there's not a singles comp on, so it's not always possible to get a competitive game.

Any thoughts??

How come I never thought of it myself!!
Ok. The ideal date for this is a common day that most people will have off or are able to get off pretty easily.
How about Good Friday or the following Monday. The Bank Holiday?
Just checked that and its Friday the 21st of March. The Bank Holiday is Monday the 24th. Does either of these days work.

It might be better if you look up the fixtures on the gui website and if there's a team event listed that you want to play in, come on here, make a thread saying anybody want to play in a team for such and such...
