    HI GUYS
happy new year to ye all
i am currently i final year of business information systems here at UCC IN Cork.
Im looking for work at moment in either Ireland,UK, or USA.
I have had an aptitude test with aib and glanbia, and aldi - for the position as area manager.
anyway, i wish to apply for any type of information systems positions , however i dont know all the relevant job titles.
i have applied for many companies, but to be honest has not been to much success, i think it might be with the question such as "why do ou want this job" or 'wat makes u a good candidate' -how important are these questions in terms of getting an interview.
i ave a v good and well formatted cv, with a consistent 2.1 in terms of results and a very impressive work experience history for my age. However im having difficulty getting called for interview, and this used never happen before.
can someone please help me out here, so i can apply for such jobs, bascially im looking for a ny good IT job that doesnt involved heaving coding!
i would really appreciate some help on this one, as its really frustrating me lately!
    thanks for your time,
    ed

After you send your CV to companies, follow it up with a telephone call a few days later. It'll at least get you on the radar.

Make sure your CV has perfect grammar and spelling (get someone else to proof read it) and make sure your cover letter is selling yourself correctly.

    Hi,

I hope you find something nice. I am on the same boat as yourself, I went for an interview around mid September for an administration position for RFID, spent almost the whole interview asking me about my projects etc, what functions I used, frameworks :( etc, all this for an admin position.

    Is BIS like eBusiness?

    Good luck!
