    Hey everyone,

Just got my first camera, a Nikon D40 with Kit lense to get me started.

I want to learn, not just point and shoot. Being a network administrator I understand the importance of learning HOW things work and WHY.

I don't know where to start though.

I live in Templebar and I'm interested mainly in street photography. Anyone got any advice on this? - Good experiences / Bad Experiences

Where would you advise I start?

    Step 1: Take Photos
    Step 2: ???
    Step 3: Profit!

Seriously, just go out and take photos!

I'd recommend you talk to Covey. His street photography is stunning.
