Go to your image on FlickR. Click All Sizes. Copy the bit that's in "grab the photos URL" ... and then click the little icon here with the mountains in yellow ... and paste in the URL.

Hope that helps.

right click the image on flickr, select 'copy image location'

come here, click on the insert image button or manually use tags, paste the URL, remove the ?v=0

so you should have something in your post like
[IMG]http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2142/2145870016_b9f816b585.jpg[ /IMG]

note: remove the space in the [/IMG] - it's only there for code demonstration

giving you the image

Easiest thing is to just quote someone and see how they do it. Then replace their urls with yours. Bear in mind it's against the Flickr T&C's to link to an image on Flickr without linking back to flickr. Soooooo.........

..........quote this to see how I made the image clickable so it takes you back to the Flickr page that it lives on. Now copy in your own img and page url locations to do the same for your own stuff. The centre tags are just there because i prefer images in the middle of the page.

Or you could post the image on pix.ie and get the page url and link-back generated for you :) Wh oh why doesn't flickr do that!?

You can get a Grease Monkey script to do that for you if you use Firefox, very handy. I managed to lose it on my last rebuild though and haven't found it since! :(

I have the following saved in drafts in my email so I can get it quickly.

The first part creates a link and the second displays the image.

[ URL="http://link in here"][ IMG]http://image jpg here.jpg[/IMG]

Remove the spaces from [ URL and [ IMG] to use it.
