    Hello forum,

Can anyone recommend a quick climber which isn't ivy, and gives good year round leaf coverage for a balcony(which has a willow surround / screen). Cheers

Have a look out for this form of honysuckle..... Lonicera henryi, it is semi-evergreen with yellow and purple scented flowers, followed by black berries.

CLEMATIS armandii is another possible candidate as it is evergreen with leathery dark green leaves and creamish white flowers.

    Personally, I'd prefer the honeysuckle.

Quick=Vigorous and I would be very cautious about climbing plants on a balcony.

With willow screening would you not consider alternatives?
