NTL Remote - Help!!

    Hope someone can help me here! NTL remote has died a death and now I need a new one. I've tried ringing NTL customer care but have just gotten off the phone after being on hold for close to 40 mins and couldn't get through (I checked the website and the customer care line is open until 10pm on Sunday, so it wasn't that they weren't there). Does anyone know can you just buy replacement remotes in the shop? I've seen the Sky ones in Argos and Power City, but not NTL.

    Please tell me I'm not going to have to call NTL again!!! I don't think I can afford the phone bill :p

    Also, does anyone know if you need a new remote do they charge you for it?
