Saw a trailer for this at I am Legend and think it looks brilliant!! Was seriously pee'd off at the end when it said "Coming August '08". Anyone know anything about it?

Watched it last night, it is defo in Xtravision.


Belgian release dates are very like the German ones. I know when I lived in Germany the rest of the world had seen some films in the cinema up to a year before it hit German cinemas. I know The Mist, which came out in the States in November 2007, is not due on German screens until December 2008.

A lot of Scheisse-movie enthusiasts are going to be seriously let down when they realise 'mist' means 'fog' in English.

On-topic. Is Death Sentence any good? It's coming out here (France) next week.

Well I liked it. I might be a bit biased though as I've always liked Kevin Bacon's films.

I liked Death Sentence as well. It had some good set pieces and had a nice grainy 70's exploitation look.

I thought it was a brilliant film also, and Kevin Bacon kicked a whole lot of ass in it!

Jaysus, I thought this was brutal! I watched it last night and it's the most cliched, predictable film I've seen in a long long time. He even evades police custody at one point by asking for a minute alone with his critically ill son and jumping out the hospital window to go after more bad guys!!! Avoid like the plague!!

Right first half good, kevin bacons acting = great, STORY = WTF ???? did a kid write the 2nd half of the film?

detective is fine and dandy with this guy killing 'punks/runts'?
great fighter for a family man
doesnt miss his wife at all when she dies?
lethal ganstars cant shoot right and point blank?

so silly at time, it was unreal

Great film. No point trying to discredit the plot - it's not the sort of film that you really should expect anything else other then exactly what you're given.

i dont believe the film, didnt work for me. Although i didnt feel it was bacon's fault.
