How much will the SnG be?

€10 SNG, Blind Omaha and All in or fold for one ticket.

Or €20 SNG for two tickets.

What time to the SnGs and general degenerate blind omaha start?
I've feck all to do after woek and it might just be handier to head straight in rather than Parkwest - Lucan - Crumlin

I've just had a few phone calls about tonights game. A letter was sent out during the week which said that the rebuy is €50 & €5 Reg. This is a mistake it is €50 and no reg.

    Sng's ect. start at 7pm

    Just home from this.

We got 68 players, 33 Rebuys and 28t Top-up for Prize pool of €9850. So a small overlay.

At 11 Handed €150 was taken off the 1st to give to 11th.

We reached the final table at 2am.

    Seat 1 Graham Dunning 44k (Iceman78)
    Seat 2 James Molone 147.5k
    Seat 3 Bobby Murphy 21k (Murph01)
Seat 4 Niall Campbell 86.5k (Warper)
Seat 5 John Weafer 59k (Spoffingjam)
    Seat 6 Noel Doyle 21.5k
    Seat 7 Paddy Geoghegan 60.5k
    Seat 8 Matthew O'Connell 41.5k
Seat 9 James Poland 61k (Deadparrot)
Seat 10 Johnny L 64k (The wee lad)

Two sick hands in a row to knock out John Weafer and Graham Dunning.

Hand 1: James Poland open pushed with A Rag, Graham next to act goes all-in, John Weafer then goes all-in.
Graham and John both have pocket Kings..... Ace on the river.

Hand 2: Graham gets it all in with AJ against Niall QJ. Both players hit a gutshot for a straight. Niall's Q high straight the winner.

    10th Bobby Murphy €250
    9th Noel Doyle €275
    8th Johnny L €300
    7th John Weafer €350
    6th Graham Dunning €475
    5th Paddy Geoghegan €700
    4th James Poland €900
    3rd Matthew O'Connell €1250
    2nd James Molone €2000
    1st Niall Campbell €3350

I'd like to thank everyone who played tonight.

Hi JP, I'm menoscemo, warper is John Corry.

Have to admit I got really last night once we got down to the last 4 or 5 with QJ beating AJ then beating a button Push of AQ with Ah8h (for half my stack).
It was a really long game and a great structure but we were literally all knackered near the end.
Thanks to everyone for a great game (and ul to those I dogged!!).

    long one alright....
was I wrong not to agree to an grand each 7 handed?

I was a little surprised at Nialls call to knock me out.
Apart from the A Rag UTG push for 35k (which imo was fine), I hadnt shown down any bad hands at all. AQ < A8.
nice result all the same niall.
Also some sick, SICK hands on that FT.

Sorry about that, you are right about the call, you had shown few bluffs but we were four handed and it was a push fest, I certainly had pushed with worse than A-8 before and that was in my head. I had you more than covered (think I had still about 80k behind) and was also wrecked tired. In a more alert frame of mind I probably would have folded.
    Also, it was sooted!!!
Unlucky alright but these things have to go your way some times. Who said that bad calls win tournaments?
Also thanks Joe for finally waking up and giving me the cards just at the right time!! Timing is everything in poker ;)

    I had???
The only hand without a call I'd shown all game was Aqo that flipped over as I mucked them after taking down the blinds. Joe made the joke about bluff shown.
I think tiredness has clouded your memory ;)
As for your pushing range :)

I said you had shown 'few bluffs' (that means not many or indeed, hardly any)
That is very different to saying you had shown 'a few bluffs' (which I assume you think I mean).

I think tiredness has clouded your memory of the english language :D

    Congrats Niall.

Am still sick about your JQ beating my AJ on final table. Glad to see you put my chips to use and won a nice prize.

Was a good game though and will definitely try to make another friday game soon.

    Hi Ste,

Yes the sng's got going at about 7.15 last weekend, it was a €20 freezeout. I think it started with 4 players and 6 dead stacks which were all gone with in 10 mins.

All in or Fold and blind omaha starts about 8pm

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,881 ✭✭✭JP Poker

Their have been a couple of suggest during the week to adjust the structure of this game. I will be speaking to Nick about this and we may introduce antes with a repeated 500-1000 or 1000-2000 Level.

a 100 ante at the 500-1000 level repeated would def speed up play imo, and make for a better game too.
You could probably go basck to 5/6/7K aswell if you did.

    Hey JP,

This was a great game both times i played but i must say that although there was alot of play 2-3 tables out it became a bit of a crapshoot on the final table i was 4th in chips going to the final table and only had an M of 6! I think this was due to the introduction of antes and there was alot more play the 1st week. Maye you could add another level or I think introducing the antes earlier would be a good idea..

Its meant to suit us mate not you ;)

    absolutley card diddly-ead all night
Came 12th through some carefully judged spots and some hyper aggression
went to showdown twice I believe in the entire game
once when my 9's held against AK
and when my shortstack push with 6's ran into aces
