Cinema lighting

I have just returned from the cinema from watching I am Legend, great film but one thing that stopped the suspension of disbelief was, it became very apparent to me and I slightly noticed it during the golden compass. All cinemas seem to have this blue L.E.D lighting which made it hard to get engrossed in the dark scenes due to being able to see all seats every1 around etc etc. Has any1 else noticed this I think its to try and catch out people with record equipment or new health regulations. Any1 else notice this?

I've noticed it, but it never bothered me. Until now. Thank you very much for ruining every cinema experience I will ever have

OP, what cinema was this in? I haven't really noticed this myself.

Where exactly was the led lighting?

it's usually the big illuminated exit sign that annoys me most. In the local cinema to the left of thse screen. Hard to ignore it.
