    I bought a stupid seagate free agent 500gig disk about 6 weeks ago, 3 weeks ago it stopped working, just like that. 400gig of stuff on it.

    can anyone tell me is there a 3.3volt rail on the control board driving the sata hdd? i thought there should be, but i am just getting 5 and 12 volts...

    i bought a sata-> usb adaptor but no good.

    cant believe this just stopped all of a sudden. ffs....!
