    I wanna start placing ads around to start gettin more calls for photo jobs

    I throw biz cards around random places, and Ill be puttin some ads up on all the notice boards in my area, as well as a good few around town, but i wanted to place a magazine/paper ad too

    I was thinkin of Cityads or Buyandsell, but they're more for just selling things, and I dont know how to place the large colour ads, ill hafta ask Cityads about that

    Well what sort of photography are you aiming for? portrait/wedding/product/FineArt. Your potential audience will dictate where you advertise.

    Have a site, just started it last week so its still in its early stages

    Workin on my portfolio in college, for college

    Another thing is, even though im good, im clearly not as good as the pros, so i need to advertise myself appropriately

    Or should I wait til my site is fully pimped and i have my portfolio together??

    I wanna do all kinds, less emphasis on the fineart side for now though

    would get rid of the squirrel and skull pic from your web portfolio it's not quite giving off a professional vibe...

    How about an ad in the people news paper you know "northside people" etc...

    Yeah, im workin on a proper gallery to put on the site, had them on me desktop for college so threw them up so theres SOMETHIN there

    Are they others alright to leave up?
