    Hi,
I have usb version 3 mobile internet. I was wondering if that could
be used to set up a network maybe using a router.

    Thanks

Sorry misread the question there!. Yes you can setup a network if you purchase a router or a small switch. You can then share your internet connection from the PC with the 3 Mobile internet on it..

Only thing is that given the speed of 3 mobile internet, it probably wont be feasible to have 2-3 computers using that connection. Would be pretty slow...

there were a few routers that could take the PCMCIA card
    but they weren't cheap

so you have to do internet connection sharing ICS from the PC with the 3G card and it must be on for the others to use it.
