So I said to myself, no more beer for at least a month!
Cut down on takeaways and get rid of that belly insulation!

And since New Years day, it was going so good. But yet, on the way home tonight, the thought of a cold beer almost made me cry with longing.
So here I am, with my first three beers (its important to take enough for a decent period of time, bollix if I'm going back to the fridge in the next 20 minutes) and a bag of onion rings and a battered sausage and a battered burger coagulating in the kitchen for when I am drunk enough to eat them.

Oh beer and evil food, you are a vile temptress, but I think I love you anyway.

Heres to another BGRH year. (gulp gulp gulp)

But trust me you are the happier man tonight.
    Damn You!

Bastard! Wouldn't mind the battered burger. Hope you got chips though. Seriously you need chips. Heaps of vinegar, nice bit of salt, kinda mushy......

    ...sorry just dreaming here.

My 'no beer' resolution lasted less than 15 hours. It was a struggle.

No! Can't break it my first weekend. Although there is still christmas beer and chocolates around the house...

Probably should have finished those first... Damn they are tempting.

(I may update later with changes to my resolution.)

Well it is very important to recycle Aluminium.

It takes an enormous amount of electricty to produce new Aluminium.

There was a feature on the Radio on Friday about how
you can recycle beer cans and takeaway containers and help
    the enviornment.

Don't feel too bad if you fail on one resolution, the evidence of your failure
can be recycled to make more beer cans and takeaway containers.
The circle of life, you might say.

I swore I'd never go to a party ever again but as I was going to bed at 7 this morning and setting my alarm for two I thought to myself: yeah, I should really never go to a party ever again
