Xtravision games sale

    Saw lots of good things in Baggot St store today (think they may have been mispriced though as he had to add a deduction to my receipt).

    They had Wii Need For Speed Prostreet, NBA08, Madden08 (and loads more) -29.99. NFS is 39.99 in sterling on play.com for example, and gamestop also has an offer where you can get many of the new games for free if you trade in two wii games (esentially meaning you can buy any two wii 29.99 games from xtravision, play them to heck, then turn them in for a game that would have cost you 60 yoyos anyway).

    They also had Bioshock (xbox360) for 29.99 too, and lots more.

    Just picked up Oblivion Game of the Year edition in xtravision Celbridge for €25!!

    That's Oblivion and the 2 expansion packs... check here for price comparison:

    Was back down in the Celbridge shop earlier and there's not an awful lot on sale to be honest. A couple good games in a 1 for 15, 2 for 25 or 3 for €30 mix n match across all platforms. A few PS3 games at decent value, think COD4 was 39.99 as well as a few others.

    I got bioshock for 30 in my local xtravision aswell in the plastic :P

    I thought it was second hand when I was bringing it up :D

    yeah brand new and all.. luckily me and my mate seemed to be the first in the shop as they were making the offers (they were still putting putting labels on all the dvds and cds) but i noticed the Bioshock SE was reduced along with the rest so i said, buy it to him (having it already myself) reassuring him that he'd get as much back on trade in xtravision in two weeks after the sale

    That's excellent considering I seen the same in GameStop for 65 second hand!

    ha! I think I sold that to you :p I remember looking at the box and thinking the price must be wrong,but no,25 quid,not bad. Other than that pretty $hit sale in all fairness,none of the new games have any reductions which was what i wanted.
