Bionic Woman on TV3

Just letting you know that TV3 will be showing this starting next Wednesday (Jan 9th) at 9, with a repeat on the following Saturday.

I know it's gotten a critical mauling but could be worth a look.

I've seen all the episodes on a holiday to the US (my sister Tivo'd them all for me) they were OK. I thought it was a good idea but just didn't get the best storylines and lacked the excitement of Heroes and Lost.
I thought Women's Murder Club was better that starts next Monday on TV3 as well.

It's not really worth a look - it's bad. I've seen most of the episodes and realised I had better things to do than continue watching. I might go back, but I've more enjoyable things to do before I do.

Yeah i've only seen about half of them (4), i dont know how many there were, but they were dull & hard to watch, pity as she's cute here but they didnt capitalise on that, maybe it'll be different on a 32"screen instead of a 17"

I thought Women's Murder Club was better that starts next Monday on TV3 as well.

The stories have come from best-seller James Patterson, as i bought his book as a gift for xmas.

I like Womens Murder Club ... good chemistry between the 4 leads, and decent stories.
Definitely better than the Bionic Brit.

I liked watching just for Michelle, and in a pervy way her younger teenage sister
I have not continued with the murder club but might try some more... i like the books.

It wasn't as bad as alot of people are making it out to be-the lead is very likable, the plot promising. Okay, so the writing is not up to much of a stanard, but certainly looks a good bet for sticking with for the 13 eps.

I've honestly never been so happy in my life. And this leaves me a whole month of being happy before I watch it and realise it's shìte.

I don't think it's great by any means but I Thought Michelle Ryan was great in lead role and it was brill for "3RD Watch" fans like myself to see Molly Price in it too.

I really enjoyed it so am a bit pissed that its been cancelled. Started a thread over on Boards.tv too

Jonah is a great character and I dont think anyone plays their role badly, better writing is all thats needed.

To be honest, Michelle Ryan should be given a role like Alias, they should start it up again and have her take over from Garner.

I liked it, kept looking at the lead thinking is that yer one off Eastenders" as i only just happened to flick on to it.

She played the part very well, and the accent was good too. Agree the fact that there are 2 bionic women is a bit mad, and for a pilot the story was a bit slow...this is the showcase show, shoulda been more exciting.

Not enough bad guys in it. Special effects weren't great, a bit like the old fast forward days; but i'm gonna give it a chance, might redeem itself later on. Certainly worth a look imo.

You mean the old slo-mo days and the strenght noices.

I the bonic-eye aspect digital displays where too small for TV you couldn't see any of the writting.

I thought the main Bonic Woman was very Dead in the role.

It wasn't intriguing enough, I got no sence of who is the bad guy/guys or If I really cared about the Second Bonic Woman, who I thing would have been better casted in the main role. (What her name? From BSG).

I though it was like those soft porn movies on sci-fi, with out the porn.

Anyone remember from the original series, Jamie had a real enemy! They were hot robot babes who were stronger, faster, better and even hotter than she was... and there was more of them too

Good lord it was terrible. There was absolutely no sense of excitement in it, and I couldn't have cared less about Jamie. It really did need a decent story and a feature lenght launch. A few people mentioned Alias but possibly because its what it tried to be (the crying bath scene in the pilot...) but failed miserably.

And Michelle Ryan wasn't great. She's usually fantastic when she can get her teeth into a role but when there is nothing for her to do she turns to wood.

I managed to watch the pilot last night and I was... underwhelmed. The story of the "baddie" Sara Corvus character (aka Starbuck from Battlestar Galactica) seemed way more interesting than the storyline of the supposed hero (Michelle Ryan from Eastenders). I don't think Michelle Ryan could be blamed because really the role itself was written poorly. All the best lines and 'mystery' was attached to Corvus.

I'm not sure if I'll be tuning in next week, probably if I'm switching around channels looking for something to watch and came across it I'd leave it on, but I wouldn't put it on my must-see-TV list.

Much better episode tonight and yayy doctor Bourke form Grays Anatomy is in it. Watching it for sure next week now ...;) yum!

Better action, better charachter development, the other bionic woman is developing into a love hate charachter for me. Missed it last week, glad i picked it up again.

A winnar is me. I gave up after 2 episodes! It really is terrible to be honest. I couldn't stop laughing whenever she did her super bionic run. It was way too obvious that she was just jogging on the spot and not doing a very good T1000 impression.
