Mayweather to fight Cotto,Mayweather to fight De La Hoya in a rematch and most astonishingly of all Mayweather to fight Hatton for a pointless second time .I've heard all these names being suggested as possible bouts for Mayweather but the name of Kermit Cintron has never been to the fore of any possible fights even though he is a welterweight champion with punching power comparable to that of Thomas Hearns and Felix Trinidad.

I love this post. Other than Kerm and now you, I haven't seen anyone mention Kerm vs. Mayweather. I have a feeling it is because the big, stong, powerful Cintron may be a bit much for the quick, dancing Mayweather. I know Cintron has said he plans on unifying the division. I'd love to see him in there with the so called P4P best!:D

Remember Mayweathers last interview he stated he was finished with boxing as it bored him. I doubt he has any plans to fight any of these, its all speculation.

I'm a fan of cintron and think he'd be dangerous for any man with his power but it remains to be seen can anyone land a full force blow on Mayweather!

Rush Boxing club and Rush Martial Arts head coach.

    That must be it:rolleyes:

Nothing to do with him being knocked out by Tony Margarito and fighting a list of nobodies not to mention his convenient hand injury which made him miss the Williams fight;)

Cintron is a very good boxer, I really like him and think he will only get better but what has he done to deserve a shot at the P4P No. 1?

Margarito, Williams, Cotto all firmly ahead of Kermit in the pecking order imo.

would like to see cory spinks meet mayweather if thats possible....
he could be the one to match floyd's pace 12 rounds in my opinion.

thought Cintron struggled badly against a relative nobody in his last fight - Jesse something- brave but limited boxer. Kermit is a nice stylist but doesn't enjoy the roughstuff
