No active Mixers Available- sound card

Trying to fix a esystem 3086 with out any of the backup discs. The sound is not working when u click on the volume contoller you get the active mixer is not installed, go to the control panel and add the hardware. Which I tried to do, what the following website said.…

Which I tried to do, what the following website said.

service manager and restarted the service but still no luck.

Its wrecking my head, please help. Esystem have no support website, Family members shouldnt be allowed to touch pc's I dont know what the hell they do to them!
