I just received a delivery of a Power Distribution Unit for a rack and I cannot for the life of me identify where to source the receptacle for the plug.

It's a 63A locking connector as per below.

I don't think it's IEC standardised, so where exactly could I get a socket for such a beast?

Looks like the standard IP67 220V plug to me. Have you taken to the average electrical wholesalers?

It's approved by IEC too, have a look at the approvals listed on the data sheet.

Here's the data sheet for the socket you need it's taken from the mennekes site www.mennekes.com

Aaarrgh, it won't let me uppload the pdf. Here it is: http://www.mennekes.com/control/downloadDetails.aspx?SKU=ME420R9W

It should be widely available, try where-ever you got that 'un or any wholesalers such as Eastern Electric etc...

    Its a Mennekes ME420R9W

    Good luck.

OK thanks! I sort of thought that it was a bit of a once-off and would require a socket to be ordered from the US, but I guess not.
I've passed the details onto the install team and I'll see what they comeback with!
