APC UPS - connecting Router

I bought a fairly high end UPS as the electricity where I live in Portugal is a bit flaky http://www.apc.com/resource/include/techspec_index.cfm?base_sku=BR1500I. I had a Belkin one already but it wasn't quite up to the job, the Belkin one came with standard plug sockets. However this APC one has sockets like you plug the back end of your monitor and pc cables into. I also have speakers and a router that i want to connect to the backup however, is there any way i can do this?

Nice UPS , you should have got a few cables that will plug into it in the box . Cut one of them in half and put a normal socket ( An equivalent of this for Portugal http://www.maplin.co.uk/Module.aspx?ModuleNo=13134&TabID=1&C=SEO&U=StaticFamilyPages&doy=search&MenuName=13A%20Rubber%20Trailing%20Single%20Socketson ) on it for the router .

The two sockets at the back with white paint on them only supress surges , they don't do UPS

<edit> You might need a few more of these :
Detachable IEC C13 to IEC C14 power cords , looks like only 2 come with it.

Thanks a lot for that.

The one thing I'm still a bit confussed about is where it say's to plug in your computer's power chord, yet on the diagram it also has a picture of the computer with a pointer to one of the back up sockets. Also am I not meant to plug in the APC itself, doesn't appear to be a socket for that. No doubt I'm being stupid and have a feeling I'm missing the obvious here, but it beats me at the mo.
