Right, I don't have one, but at the weekend, I was in my cousin's house and his kids have a wii.

We were playing tennis and my cousin and I were baffled by the young lad's serve at it was so bloody fast and usually resulted in an ace.

How the hell did he do it?

    Practice.

you need to hit the ball with a quick flick of the wrist right as the ball is at the highest point.

The trick is that you don't actually need to raise the Wii remote up to launch the ball. If you actually hold the Wii remote upright, you can press [A] to launch the ball. So all you have to do is sweep the remote downwards, when the ball is at its highest peak. Easy peasy..

So, hold remote vertically upwards, press [A] to launch the ball, sweep downwards when the ball is at it's highest point.
