Most pedigree breeders will have a waiting lists, could be 6-12months. If you buy one from the net/newspaper you will more than likely be buying from a backyard breeder or a puppy farm - dogs (particularly SB's) will often have problems if they are produced in this way and also often have social/health problems.

    thanks!

i do know the complications that may come with not buying from a breeder and don't mind waiting.

do you know of any breeders regardless of the waiting lists?

Good luck with your St Bernard when you get it. My parents have had St Bernards for about 16yrs. Great dogs, very loyal and excellant with kids.

    Enjoy the drool :)
