Got it Christmas Eve, I've been too busy playing it to take proper pics so all I've got are these shoddy phone camera shots:










I'll get around to taking nice ones as soon as I put the damn thing down... Really nice neck on it, had no trouble adjusting to the extra string. Got it second hand with upgraded tuners and bridge, makes it look sharper I think. The setup was perfect when I got it, needs new strings though.

yeah, but if we're being honest, that's not much of a commendation, and that bass is gorgeous, and deserves better praise than "nicer than the Bongo".

whats that thing sound like, as in in comparrisons to other basses(i know its gonna have its own feel but you know), been thinking bout picking up a 6 stringer myself after i lost my 5 string, was thinking about either the new john myung or the auld one.

I've no experience with the JM2, but I love the tone of this one. It came with mismatched dead and new strings (new ones are in the post) but it's still alright. Versatile (3 band EQ is quality), lots of usable tones and sits in a band setting well. The spacing I'm not sure of exactly but it feels a bit tighter than my ATK (which is 17.5) so i'd say around 16.5 - 17ish. Slapping's a bit awkward. Very nice neck, construction seems top notch.

Comparisons to other basses eh? Well it can sound kinda P-ish if the neck pickup is solo'd, kinda jazzy with the neck soloed (but not quite because it's not a single coil). I'll see about getting some clips up.
