Scart connection problem with Philips DVDR3570H

    I followed the simple diagram for connecting my new Philips DVDR3570H dvd recorder using scart leads to my sky digital box and i keep getting 'no signal' on the dvd reorder. So then i used the coax cable to connect them, but the picture isn't as good.

    Anyone have this problem. It seems like a good machine, but the good people in Argos will have it back soon if i can't sort it!!

    I followed the guide as well and had no issues, I only get the no signal message when I do not have the sky box switched on. I used scarts only with Ext1 from the philips going to TV and ext 2 to the sky box.

    Have you tried a different scart lead. Maybe the lead is the problem.
