Now that the weather is playing haywire with my perfectly laid out plans, does anyone reckon the trains will be ok? I wudnt normally mind getting over by car but with the conditions out on the road, a snail paced journey going from east to west isnt excatly appealing!!!

Could any1 tell me how long they would expect the journey from Dub to Galwi to take? If I left at 3 , would I be down in time for 7?

Folks coming over, remember that Friday traffic in Galway between 1pm and 6:30pm is generally terrible at the best of times...let alone if the weather slows things down. That said, despite a snow-covered morning vista, the rains came and Galway city (at least the western half) is currently snow free.
