In association with 540 Hosting, Animate Gaming are proud to announce the Animate Winter Cup.

5on5 Search and Destroy

Teams: 16, although we will expand to 32 if we get enough interest.

Maps: Backlot, Pipeline, Overgrown and Winter Crash for the final.

Rules: The ED MR12 rules will be used with Pam4.

Prizes: Prizes are TBA at the moment, although we can confirm that the winning team will be getting a 20 slot CoD4 and TS server at the very least.

Signups are now open, so what are you waiting for?

edit: We are also looking into getting the finals shoutcasted, should be fun.

I know they mean we're playing one map (Backlot in Bracket 1) and first to reach 13 wins. But when do we switch sides exactly? Every round? Every second round? Third?

its mr12 so you'll play 12 rounds as one team then switch.

so basically if you win one half 12-0 all you need is one round from the other half to win the game.

dont worry about it, pam4 switches teams automatically at half time anyway

Jesus! So what if we play a map where it's impossible to plant and playing in defense is much easier? You're fooked basically right? I mean it's super hard to plant on Backlot against a Team with good defensive strats... If we start as the team that has to plant, we're fooked! :eek:

Anyway, how are sides decided? Coin toss (lol)? Bash round? Team playing "away" chooses?

We got hammered also... 13 - 4. I played bad yet, I finished best fragger (to tell you how bad the rest of the team was...).

We hate that map. Any other map and I think we could have won easily. r3 aren't that good. But they had strats, we didn't...

Was fun anyway!
