One of my friends used to work here, I forget the shift pattern.
This job starts out at 40k, if your upskilling from a trade.
I have heard from numerous equipment techs that Johnson Johnson are a very good to work for.

They're an alright company to work for....I worked as a production technician during the summer of 2006 and I know a few people working there at the moment. There's 4 shifts A,B,C and D and the shifts are 12 hours long from 7:30 -> 7:30. You switch between days and nights every 4 weeks. You'll end up working every 2nd weekend with the way the shift pattern works. I can't remember exactly how it works but it's along the lines of working 5 days/nights one week and working 2 days the next week.

You'll also get discounts on a load of J&J products which is great. As a PT you'll be working on a production line and it'll be your responsibility to keep the line running and monitor the yield on the line. If you are on days you'll also have to do some maintenance tasks on the line as well (doesn't happen on night shifts).

If you don't mind me asking rmacm how much do they pay production techs?

I was a student at the time and was taken on for the summer so I was paid less than what a normal Production Tech would be paid. I was on just over €10/hr if I remember correctly I'm not sure if it's changed.

Just in case you're thinking Production Tech is the same as Process Tech it isn't. Production Techs usually get raw materials for the lines and look after the packaging areas at the end of the lines. Process Techs jobs are a bit more technical. Granted things may have changed since I worked there as regards pay rates and duties.
