It's generally not a good idea to use paintball bbs in any form of airsoft.

Terrible Idea. This guy explains why.

I believe this topic came up a couple of months ago as well. As o1s1n said, not the mae-west of ideas if you want your airsoft kit working correctly.

Besides the issue of whether or not 6mm paintballs will really mark a target effectively, they would probably burst when loading them into a GBB pistol or the like (since you have to apply pressure from one end to match that of the loading mechanism at the other end to push the bbs into the magazine)

Or, follow the link that Boston posted ^^

ask skatedude, he had some...they were like something you would make yourself at home with a gluegun, paint from your garage that had been there 2 years and no patience LOL they are not even round...i think if you had like a claymore mine

    http://www.eirsoft.ie/store/product_info.php?cPath=25&products_id=61

they would be fine but aeg and gbb a big big no no...

one other thing, i am not sure people with the mesh masks would be happy even if you did get them working

I read some reviews on the newer ones that are apparently seamless and pretty much perfectly spherical with a slightly more robust external coating to them

i have some of them at home., i wouldnt even think about using them in any kind of decent AEG., there not even close to a perfect sphere so they could get jammed in your gun.,
If you have a cheapo pistol or something then go ahaed and give it a go., also their very hard and they dont break in your mag or anything, they take a fair bit of force to break them.,

i tried these a few years ago in a cheap springer, the paint they leave is useless, you'd see it on a plain white sheet of paper but not on much else, from what i remember it wiped off fairly easy, but again, they were used in a very cheap springer, a proper aeg or gbb would cause them to rupture in the barrel or possibly even in the magazine

i know this is off topic but is it illegal to actually mount one of those on the gun or jus to actually own it? I may have acquired one at some stage see:o

jesus don't buy them, tried them in a TM p90 and the worst AEG ever a Double eagle g-36c and they didn't even get out of the mag, had to take both of them apart. great fun taking it apart and discovering a piece left over

think its more of the mount and the fact it could be considered a "Firearm compoment"

Its counted like NV Scopes ect as the only kind of people who would have use for them would be the Army and the likes of the IRA. Importing or selling them is Illegal!

i think the queation is more about fitting them to airsoft equipment rather than importing them, also i think its against the charter to talk about them.,

It's a bit of a gray area alright. We decided a while ago on the advice of some shooters to be safe and not discuss them here.
