URGalaxy & warranty

Hmmm ... URGalaxy has a rather tempting price at the moment on the older version of the Nikon f2.8 80-200 (non-afs) of 605 euros. Practically a steal I'd say

Couple of questions though, from what I remember some of you guys here have dealt with URGalaxy before right ? Everything went smoothly ? Other question is about the warranty. They advertise a "worldwide warranty certificate". Is this an actual Nikon warranty ? Or is it the case that I'd end up sending it back to HK if something screwed up ? Doesn't seem to be any specifics there.

Cracking lens that's in my arsenal.

I recall Peadar waxing lyrical about UrGalaxy but the warranty on the listing would appear to be a Mack rather than a Nikon one.

Yeah I figured it was something similar. So how do those mack warranties work ? Do you have to send it back to HK ? Or is there mack warranty centres or something in Ireland ? Do they try and fight you for every penny or are they fairly reliable ?

Order away from URgalaxy, they are (in my opinion) the best online store on ebay. I ordered two lenses from them the friday before xmas and got both by fedex on christmas eve (the following monday).

Excellent customer service too and (of course) great prices.
