Well , i have seen all the eps up to that one and I love the show ..
I just think thats too low ..

I know they have low jokes in it but i think that's more damaging and
shows that they are truly running out of ideas...

I remember before he mentions this he says someting like having séx with a 12 year old Chinese child and catching the clap or something. Was that not worse?

If I were you I would not watch many more episdoes cos they mention similar jokes in the up coming shows you havent seen yet.

not funny as S1-3 but still a great show ..

I don't think they're going low as such, just more on the edge like South Park has gone. Those comments relate to the numerous reports of rape and child sex/prostitution against US military in foreign countries.

Family Guy is the ultimate cartoon. I don't think it's low. I've seen 9 of the episodes they've aired in the US and the jokes are quite edgey, but I wouldn't say low

thats how comedy rolls these days tho...all the amazingly funny jokes and situations have been more or less used up so contempary comedy now relies on the shock factor and retro things (like optimus prime being a jew in family guy).

People laugh at the idea of someone eating their own parents like cartman made scott tennerman do in south park because its shocking and fresh.

Family guy is definitley losing its touch. I've been a fan since the 1st season but these new ones are just too often kinda sick!

And I don't agree that it's like South Park has gone. SP is in my opinion by far the strongest cartoon on TV at the moment, in terms of characters, plotlines and story development.

While FG has always relied on 'it's like that time' jokes (which is fine), it seems that they're finding themselves having to go further and 'lower' with these jokes. Once it was genius, now it seems to be a little predictable and almost cringeworthy! Still full of laughs though!

SP on the other hand constantly makes me laugh and brilliantly links stories and current issues together!

If I had any reservations about FG these days, it would be that they're getting a bit lazy. Lois' 'Fúcking idiot' remark about Peter re: the prostate exam being the only example I can call to mind.
