For those interested, the Irish Rail/NIR De Dietrich carriages are getting a new livery for the first time since they were introduced. Still mostly grey (a lot less purple though), but with a hint of green towards the doors (wonder how that will play up the north...). Enterprise logo now in a similar position to the InterCity logo on Mark IV sets and the word "Enterprise" written in CIE 2000 font in a rectangle above the doors.

Must say the cars badly needed a respray (and must be approaching a mid-life refit, 1994 aren't they?) Internally, they're still comfortable and all that but I've found quite a few of the seat cushions in standard class are loose; the food car feels very dated, and some of the toilets probably need replacement rather than constant repair.

And taking the phone out and replacing with WiFi in First+ would be useful, hint hint...

Looks much better IMO, the original livery was very dull and most of the coaches were looking like they had been used as target practice by the IRA.
